Modesto Community in Mourning After Tragic Triple Homicide Claims Lives of Mother, Grandmother, and Newborn

According to the Modesto Police Department, officers responded shortly after 9:20 a.m. to a reported disturbance at a residence. Upon arrival, they discovered Fabiola Gonzalez suffering from multiple stab wounds. Despite immediate emergency efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities later confirmed that investigators quickly identified and arrested 28-year-old Joaquin Escoto inside a nearby home. He was taken into custody without incident. Police stated that Escoto shared a child with Fabiola Gonzalez.
