Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred late Sunday morning on Dry Fork Road involving a Dodge Charger driven by 48-year-old Mary Bernard Shelton of Ringgold.

According to officials, the crash happened at approximately 11:12 a.m. on May 24, 2026, along Dry Fork Road east of Mill Road. Emergency crews responded after reports that a vehicle had left the roadway.

When first responders arrived, they located the damaged Dodge Charger off the roadway. Emergency personnel secured the scene, assessed the driver, and temporarily managed traffic in the area while the initial investigation was carried out.
